Social bookmarking to the money site?

First let me say thank you to everyone in this forum for providing so much information. That being said, I would like to get some input on social bookmarking links. It seems like most of the strategies that I read about use social bookmarking in more of a "link laundering" situation. An example of what I am talking about is placing an article in a strong article directory that points to your money site. Then use social bookmarking to link to that article. Thus building the strength of the link the article has pointing back to your money site.


This leads me to my questions. Is social bookmarking most effective when used this way? Is it a poor practice to use social bookmarking links that point to your money site?

    High PR social bookmarking is good way to Increase your site traffic and backlink. Be social when you doing that. Just give a backlink there and sign out, dont do that.

    Hi, that kind of technique is called tier 2 link building. Yes, it can help your tier 1 link become powerful. Doing social bookmarking also to your money site is useful too when you link your site to high PR sb sites.
