Can you Take advantage of others website traffic?

Greetins Warriors, i was doing some keyword research and i found that there is a website called xxx superdot .com (of course this is not the real name) but it has more than 100,000 local searches with LOW competition, a PR average of 1.71 for the first ten pages. If i choose a domain name like xxx superdots .com (added a s or a stop word) like xxx thesuperdot .com , would i be able to take advantage of the traffic that site is getting? if i do a proper seo strategy of course ..

Well im my country there is a company that brings a lot of traffic to their website, and is a low competition word, so what i was thinking is getting a domain name the includes that company domain so when people search for that keyword, i could get second spot for the SERP or outrank the same company`s website, from first ...

I think you could get some of the traffic, but be careful if the domain has a trademark on it. I'd expect you would get between 1-5% of the traffic, more if you out-rank it for some of the main keywords

If you are thinking to take advantage of others site traffic you can do Google bowling.But its a blackhat technique that can ruin your ranking if your bowl gets caught.
