Clickbank vendors: what's your best paid traffic method?

Hi folks,

I'm a Clickbank vendor who creates info products in a particular health niche (sleep disorders, like snoring, sleep apnea, etc.). My target audience is overweight, middle-aged males.

Currently the only paid advertising I do is Bing Ads (formerly adCenter). I'm planning to scale up my paid traffic, and have made a list of things I could do:

(1) Media buys on individual sites (i.e. contact sites that target my audience and try to buy banner space)

(2) Solo ads in e-newsletters (same as previous. Contact sites that target my audiences and buy a solo ad in their e-newsletter)

(3) Ad networks (I've heard that AdBrite and Ad Sonar are good networks to start with; I'm also considering 7search, Miva, and Pulse360)

(4) PPV (I've heard that TrafficVance is a good network with lots of volume)

I'm wondering what other Clickbank vendors have found is the most effective source of paid traffic. I'd be particularly interested in the experience of vendors in heath niches.

Thanks a lot,

Moe

I can't say which traffic will be the best for you because everything depends on your offer. I can, however, say that in my experience it's best to test one traffic method after another. Start with first method and do everything you can to make it profitable. If you make it profitable, do everything you can to make it even more profitable. After that, keep it running and go to the next method. If some traffic sources aren't profitable for you, let them go, don't waste time and money with them (just make sure you did everything you could to make them profitable).

    - PPC such as Bing and Adworks are among the best ones. But you pay few big bucks for that. Also those mentioned two networks don't like affiliate links, so you get hurt pretty much fast.
    - Media buys also work great, just need to pick the right trading platfrom.
    - Solo is hit or miss, you might not get your money back
    - Adbrite is not stands for quality traffic, but ePC is not that big, so you could also experience that one
    - PPV is a good option
    - Classified ads also works for almost every niche. Just need to know how to tweak it.

The future is in mobile advertising. I will suggest you give mobi advertising a good consideration.

In regards to PPV, does anyone have a link to a good guide for beginners? I'm looking into trying this method.

A really good course that is out at the moment for PPV is the following link: (rest-assured I have no affiliation with this product)

      Hope that helps!

Can you not scale it up just using Bing, is bing not bringing you enough sales?
