Google ranking drop

Hi,

My webpage was ranked one the first page of google for a few months for some of the keywords. However i just realize today that the ranking suddenly dropped until page 17 for some of my keywords. I am still in page 1 for yahoo and bing.

I haven done anything to the website for the past 2 weeks. The latest link building i did was 3 weeks ago when i did a press release, i had no idea why this happened. Please help. I have checked the pagerank as well, it did not drop also.

My website is agileswitch .com and the keywords i am looking at are IGBT driver, Gate Driver for IGBT.

  • Could be that your site is just fluctuating. I would wait awhile longer and see if it comes back. If it drops it is not usually so drastic.

      Thanks for your reply, I think the drop have been around for 4 days, and the only keyword that have not dropped was like the website name. the rest of the rankings all dropped. Could it be that i received some penalty from google without knowing it? I checked webmaster tool, they didn't sent any warning message.

    Likely? Doubt it.

    I would wait a little bit longer myself.

    Also are you using any particular rank checking software / site and have you tried another or are you manually checking these rankings?

    • i dont use any software, normally they are on page one when i search them on incognito window. the reason i noticed the drop is because webmaster showed that the traffic to my site went down to less than 10 for the pass 4 days where normally it should have between 40 to 80 per day.
