How Many Social Book Markings?

How many social bookmarking's should I have for my website? Is 25-30 more than enough or should I have 300-400? And how exactly will these help? Will they bring traffic?

Also, does anybody has a list that can be shared here?

Social bookmarks only pass low amounts of link juice, so you only want about 20-30 of them. The lesser known ones are unlikely to bring in traffic, but ones such as StumbleUpon should.

Whenever I send social bookmarks to my website I do around 500

This depend son variables though if you just sent 400 links to your website using something else you don't need that many social bookmarks coming in at the same time

20-30 social bookmarks for a day or a month?? I guess if for a day its a decent amount of bookmarking you are doing.

I recommend 20 to 30 for new sites. Then you can increase it by doing drip feed after a few days.

Search online for social bookmarking sites because google have many good resources for you so search online.

I normally just link my contents in 5-10 social bookmarking sites a day to help drive up some traffic and help it to be indexed on search engines, so 30-40 should be fine. As long as you choose those that are high PR, then that would be enough. 300-400 social bookmarks is way too much, I don't think you will need all of them. You can check out this for reference: 490+DoFollow Social Bookmarking List. In SEO, other types of links are also necessary, not just social bookmarks.
