How To Beat Google Adwords?

Hey all,

as you probably know, I had my account recently suspended by google adwords. Now that is a BIG issue, because adsense is huge, and pretty affordable. Not to mention the leads are pretty qualified..

SO I was thinking of:

1) cloning my entire website. Do I have to get a new server hosting account or would buying a new domain suffice?

2) setting up a new adwords account with a separate billing address, name, credit card and contact information.. of course. That isn't too hard, since the original credit card didn't belong to me anyway.

Would these new measures suffice?

  • You need a new everything. Even a new computer. A new name, new address, new IP address, new credit card, new bank information, basically replace every single field when you sign up.. with new or different info. Good luck!

  • OK here's where it gets tricky. When building a new website, can I just clone everything on my website? Even with a new hosting account etc.. or will google have some sort of a super algorithm where they can read my business registration address even?

Because I'm thinking of using some Pakistani guy from Odesk to clone my entire website, compensate him through Odesk's payment system (screw the 10%, it aint worth my transportation fees) and log into adsense through a separate ISP address.. what do u guys think of it?
  • I think you will have to close your current internet account with your ISP and start a new one. There is no way they are not going to figure out it's you once you log on from your current IP and computer, so try to change them both.

    • I will probably just log into the new google adwords account from a friend's computer, using his ISP. That should probably do the trick right?
  • My only worry is that if I clone my account, google can detect it because of the content on my website, as well as my A Weber account.

    • Hi JoshuaAMP,

I do believe that you are taking the wrong approach. As long as you have not burnt all your bridges with AdWords you should attempt to get the suspension on your account lifted.

I have found that as long as you show a sincere effort to comply with their policies, they will always work with you to get your account suspension lifted. A lot of people make the mistake of just walking away without even trying to get the suspension lifted, that is a huge mistake. I have helped clients get suspensions lifted on a number of occasions and for a variety of violations. It would be wise to pursue reconciliation before going to the extreme measure of changing your identity.

Besides, if you do not get your websites and campaigns into compliance, you will just end of suspended on your new identity anyway.
  • Hey Joshua, I'm not sure, but it maybe easier to fix whatever Google didn't like, then contact Google letting them know you fixed the site to conform to their guidelines.

Do you know why they closed your account?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I am on a permanent suspension... otherwise known as a permanent ban. I think it's because of user safety and information harvesting. Could also be due to the keywords I bought such as: how to make a girl like you, how to flirt with girls (I run a dating website fo men)

    • I've seen many accounts removed from a "permanent" suspension. You have to be VERY persistent but polite and do not take no for an answer from Google. Eventually you'll get to a sympathetic ear who will tell you what you need to change on your site, then have that person submit it for reconsideration. This will take a month or longer but is worth the effort.
  • I think I will have to mask my IP address.. anyone knows how to do that?
  • You can't do anything, just use another ad network
  • If Google was not happy about content of your website, then it'll feel same about your cloned site. Why not mail them with your existing credentials to know the exact reason...

Again no need to change the system, I think the most unique way to track some one is MAC ID which is hardwired into Ethernet/LAN card or Wifi/3G devices/card. Get them replaced, delete cookies sessions etc...
  • If the website will be the same, I don't think changing IPs, physical address, etc. will work. After all, they have closed your account because of your site/content.

Like Dburk suggested, you may contact them and try to find out what was wrong and then try to rectify.
  • The site are saming,Google can not give you more trust.

  • Hi Josh -some things are worth a try.
Communication is the key. Based on how you described yourself -permanently being blocked by Google, it seems that you aren't really sure of the reason why Google banned you.
    1. Contact Google.
    2. Understand your Mark Downs.
    3. Explain your Situation and Ask for Possible Courses of Action.

**Again, you will never know what could happen until you tried it.
This happened to me with Amazon and I was able to win my membership back.

    Cheers!
