6 month old blog is necessary for Indain?

I have recently created my new blog for adsense, but i read somewhere that it is strict requiremnet for indians to have 6 months old blog.
Please confirm it.
Can i use other themes for my blogger blog. Can other theme be hinderence for adsense or not?


HELP.......
Is blogger good for starting adsense.
Can i also use other affiliate marketing with adsense also.

    Google now follow some strict policies to open the Google Ad sense account, i think it's difficult for you to open the ad sense account with your 6 months old blog, because one of my friend waiting for more then 1 year but he can't open the account. So you better put some useful unique content for your users and increase the traffic for your website.

    Yes, it is. That's because many people tried to defraud google so now they are more careful in approving adsense account for Indian and other Asian countries.

    Your best bet is to publish quality content and then apply for adsense once you have decent amount of visitors on your website.

    It is not a strict law, my blog got approved within around 3 months of its launching. You have to have quality content and fulfill all the guidelines given by the AdSense if you have quality blog with quality traffic you will get approved

      You are correct. Its more of a guideline actually and I think the only reason Google have implemented this rule is to weed out crappy websites. So if your site has quality content and provides good visitor experience; more often than not it will get accepted even if it isn't six months old.

    quality and unique content is the most necesary thing..
    cant say bout time frame as the above guy told that his blog ws approved within 3 months but i think (not sure) google has specified that your blog should be minimum 6 months old..

      I have searched and studied everywhere that google approves blogger and other purchased domain for adsense process if u have unique content and good traffic.
