50 Posts and Up

I have been reading that the more posts you have the better and the more traffic you get because of the long tails that you target. So I am wondering how this has worked for others. Is there anyone who has 50+ posts who still did not see any traffic? Is it automatic that you will receive more traffic if you build your websites out this way no matter the competition?

  • No of course not. How could that possibly be true? You know it doesn't make sense surely?
  • No you don't receive automatic traffic unless search engines picks them up and eventually will send you a few here and there but that will still take time.

If you are going to focus on getting 50 posts on your site, you need to focus on onsite SEO and offsite SEO. Both are important to drive traffic to you. You need to make sure you have all of your onsite SEO checked to make sure you are feeding the search engines what they want. Then you want to go out and start building quality links back to your articles/site from relevant sites. You need to do this carefully and eventually traffic will flow naturally.

You can post all the content you want but if you are not letting the people know of it, they won't find it. Internet is a vast space with a lot of crap all over the place. People are often lost when looking for something. So if you got good content, let the people know. As time goes, your site will receive traffic it deserves.
  • If you want traffics, you need to make useful post.
