Google is crawling but not indexing for weeks already

I moved my site from a subdomain to a root domain 2 weeks ago. The subdomain had about 6k pages indexed on google, and even since I moved to a root domain, Google kept increasing the amount of indexed pages of the subdomain for about a week now (38k pages indexed now), although I redirected all pages on the subdomain to their matching pages on the root domain. The bigger problem is that Google still didn't index anything new from the root domain, although it is crawling the new domain for about 5k pages a day since I moved two weeks ago. Even worst, Google is dropping the indexed pages of the root domain it has left (not many) every day.

Webmaster Tools isn't complaining about anything, except the robots.txt being unavailable for 10% of the requests (no idea why, but at least it's available 90% of the time).

Seems like the indexing of the subdomain has stopped, there are 38k pages indexed for 3 days already.

First of all, you need to 301 that sub-domain if you have not already.

Second use www.pingmylink.com everyday and watch those new pages get indexed.

Tell Google? I'm following Google's guide for moving a domain and it doesn't say to contact them.

I did submit a sitemap about 3 weeks ago. I'm using Fetch as Google to validate that the 301 redirects and robots.txt are working.

I'm 301-redirecting for 2 weeks already. Thanks for the tip.
