Warriors need your HELP - My Home page not getting indexed !

Hi ,

Our sites Home page is not getting indexed . But all other pages are indexed .

History :

The site runs on Blogger . About a month ago we mis-placed the Robots.txt and the Home page got de-indexed .

We corrected the issue immediately and re-submitted the Home page URL to Google for indexing .

but still now the Home page is not indexed !

Have anyone faced such an issue ? How long will it take for G to again bring back our Home page to Index ?

    First problem - blogger.

    If you really want to run a professional website, you should move off that platform, it will eventually hold you back.

    2nd problem, not getting indexed-- that's probably the robots.txt issue like you mentioned. Just have someone who knows what they are doing recreate it and then you'll be fine.

    If you do it quickly enough, you should gain back all of the rankings that you are currently de-indexed for.

    As already mentioned.. GET OFF BLOGGER.

    Second, something you could try is removing the robots file completely. Remove anything that is un-natural to a LAME BRAIN web designer that just threw there first website up. Then PING your site. Should work

    Get your blogger sitemap link and post it to your webmasters tools account. It will be like this yourkeyword.blogspot.com/atom.xml or yoursite.com/atom.xml Also get the homepage link and submit through submitexpress and ping it through pingler and it will be indexed within 24 hours. Cheers!
