[Adwords] When u launched yr first campaign, did u run into "Ads not showing" issue?

Hey guys...

Like to ask, when u first opened your Adwords account and launched your first campaign, did you run into "Ads not showing" issue?

To resolve the issue, did you actually contact Adwords Support and were later told "your ad serving was interrupted while they reviewed your
account. For your security and to prevent unauthorized activity, they needed to verify your billing information..."

Does this sound familiar? I'm asking because some of the Adwords accounts I've opened faced similar issue, so was wondering if it is just me or is this something "routine" experienced by all new account owners.

    I've experienced a delay in launching my first campaigns, but I never contacted the support, I just waited a little while and the ads eventually started to show.

      There's always a slight delay before your ads will show

        True, but I was talking about when you first setup your account, getting approval etc etc, like you were talking about.

          It just took me almost a week to get approved for some reason on a new account. Then it took almost 2 days for ads to show and another day for the content of the ads to be relevant. Worth the wait because is turning out to be a nice little income stream.

    You will have to wait a little to come up ads, and maybe your ads are not showing because of poor quality score.

    Always a delay when placing new ads. The delay has grown slightly as of late to around 15-20 minutes or even more.

      Ok, someone told me the "Ads not showing" issue happens only when you use a new Gmail account for Adwords. In other words, if you've been using Gmail for a certain period of time and have never used Adwords, then one day you decide to use Adwords using that 'dated' Gmail account, such an issue wouldn't happen. Weirdness~ but that's just Google
