need help getting a old domain bought kicking and weird issues please advise

I bought a 15 year old domain at auction that sold computers in italy. It was not dropped at all, i then bought 1500 blog posts from a site that went out of business and shut down. I pulled the content off the domain and deleted it. Then after 4 weeks check copyscape and google and it was all clean no copys of it or showing on old domain. I started posting 5 a day and they are 1300 words plus each . To this day and its been 4 months they are indexed by google but not ranking except a handfull. The issue with that is anything that shows in google shows -italy next to the blog ranking. The domain is pr2 and will be a pr4-5 this next update . It has authority of 32 , it should be higher by months end. With 400 blog posts posted and only a few ranked where i can find them , we are getting no traffic daily. We should be getting odds and end long long tail traffic by now from google . So what does this sound like the problem is? I have no ads on the site yet , no outbound links, iam stumped, please reply to a pm or to thread if you have had this kinda of experience before .
