Blogger to Wordpress Import

I currently have my blog digitalsensus.com parked on blogger platform and wish to change the platform to wordpress. To familiarize with wordpress, i have
installed the same on my local machine using WAMP server.
The import works fine but i have issues with the formatting of the imported posts. The formatting gets completely disturbed. Images gets placed anywhere, paragraphs is removed, line spacing is removed and all i can say is it s not presentable at all.
Any Suggestions as to how to rectify the same automatically as doing it manually will require lot of time and efforts.
