Backlinks from Wikipedia.org- Are they Valuable?

Today, I realized that one of my articles was given a backlink from a wikipedia page which has a pagerank of 5.
Are the backlinks coming from Wikipedia.org do follow or nofollow?

They're no follow but when I got a Wikipedia link a few years ago I saw a jump in rankings. You also get traffic too from Wikipedia links which is very valuable.

Hey, you can checked it using searchstatus addons but anyway they are no follow. Yes, they are still valuable even they are no follow. It still can make your site authority as you gather and have this kind of links.

It's nofollow but it's good because it could send you a good relevant traffic

PLENTY valuable. I had one of my sites ranked #2 compared to Wiki, then I noticed I got linked from Wiki. My site jumped to #1 and has been there for the last past 2 years. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Even cooler is when google uses a pic from your site for wiki's info on the side that they started doing.

has nofollow attribute but can bring a good traffic. . some author of the article can delete or remove your link if they think that its not relevant.

It's nofollow. But it's still wikipedia and you're lucky that you had a backlink there without exerting any effort.

Yes its valuable, if it sticks. Its best to get a Wikipedia backlink from an approved writer, If you sign up and edit content with your links, they will most likely get removed and your domain could get blacklisted from their site.

Yes they are very much valuable. Well Nowadays with generic keywords they are used and they get most effective when you give the Wikipedia backlinks.

No they are not.. only you get referral traffic if you place link in wikipedia.
