Google update history

Hello,

I just wanted to know some details about the google updates.

Around ~25-26SEPT - what update was it? Maybe panda? 3 of my sites dropped around that day
Around ~28SEPT - It was EMD update, right? 2 of my sites dropped around that day

And for example, if my site got hit one of the updates, then once I remove the bad content and fix the errors, then when the new update comes, my site might pop back?

All the updates of google are mentioned in detail with date and time, pretty useful to track which update actually hit your website.

It is not just bad content but bad links are also hurting rankings in Google. Try to remove bad links as well. Article submission is almost dead, Google is penalizing those sites who are submitting same article into hundreds of sites. Same case with blog posting. Banned directories and bookmarking sites also hurt rankings.

Link Building is now shifting towards Link Earning by creating great content.
