Adsense Problem

Hey Warriors... I have a question here about Adsense.

I own a gaming site that makes on average $10 per day from adsense.

3 weeks ago the sites CPC, CTR, EARNINGS... ALL WENT DOWN To about $4 per day for one week... Then after that the site made about $10 per day again.

Its been 2 weeks of the site making on average $10 per day. But today.. (tuesday) the sites CPC, CTP, EARNINGS... have gone down again.

What should I expect? The earnings have gone down 2 weeks exactly after each other. Should I expect a week of the site not earning as much then will it go back up again?

By the way, the visitors have stayed constant over the past month.

  • I would say that your site dropped rankings somewhere for awhile or maybe where your getting your traffic from that place site or link went down for a few days. Thats my best guess.

      Its all social media traffic. I only get about 200 visits per day from search engines.

  • Then people just didn't click as much. I wouldn't freak its back to normal.

      People clicks are worth less aswell and it seems to be in a pattern.
  • There are a couple of things that could be happening:

    1. Your ranking is either fluctuating for your main keywords or
    2. There is fluctuation in the bidding price advertisers pay.

    • Yup. And it happens to everybody. That was my first question here
      at the WF, and I got my clocked cleaned. You know what the
      favorite answer was? To change my keywords. Kind of silly, right?

      Well, not really. What they meant was, branch out. If I had a site
      on horse riding, why not go for saddles, oats, meds, etc.?

      Here's an adsense tip. Any niche can be morphed into a site about
      any and all adjunct topics and products. Build more content.

      More content, more potential adsense income, and more of a way
      to head off adsense drop offs.

      But even then, you may still pull your hair out. Big advertisers come
      and go. Your CPC fluctuates on your site every time a page loads.
      Special ads get run that take up space, which may never get a click.

      Just weather the storm, drum up more of your own traffic, and
      be patient.

    • Yep, sounds like you're dealing with bidding price fluctuation, my friend. Usually not so significant as that, but it certainly happens from time to time.
