Here is an experiment that I did using You Tube tags which just shows you how easy it is to rank high on Youtube.

That's just one method, there are other methods which can make your stay on the top absolutely pleasant. Simply put - you can turn around whatever YT options where text is allowed, to your SEO benefit.

    • Your test wasn't completely accurate.

      Before adding the new tag, you weren't logged in to youtube (No search preference, accurate results), and after adding the tag, you were logged into youtube when you checked the new ranking (Inaccurate biased results).

      Other than that, I do use this method and it does work, but not as instant as your test.

      Regarding your question: Whether already uploaded or not, the results show up instantly. These replies just shows majority don't even know. That's why I recorded and decided to post it here. So that everyone may know and test it for themselves to see how fast and effective tags are, even today.
