Hi all.
Quick question.
Would having an interal link pointing to the page it's currently on have any SEO value at all?

For example. If we were on keyword_text.html, and had a link on this page like the following..
<a href="/keyword_text.html" title="Keyword Text">Keyword Text</a>

Many thanks

Probably not but more to the point it will be very frustrating for users to click a link hoping for more/different info and see the same page.

In my experience users might think it is an error and click it again which might have implications for your analytics and skew you pages per visit etc, if it is prominent on a lot of pages.

      Thanks very much Nick.
Didn't think so. IT's just that i removed them for a client and they asked for me to put them back...but i suppose with so many people contradicting each other in SEO it's easy to take the wrong road.
      Thanks
