Is anyone having success in ranking first .info domain?

I had .com,.org and .net domains. Easiest to rank .com. I tried a lot to get a good rankings with .info domain but even with EMD domain, it is not ranking.

Whereas .com EMD domain easily gets rank on Google.

  • It is true that .com domains are easier to rank. However, domain extension is not a major ranking factor. If you provide quality information and optimize your website properly, you should be able to rank an .info domain as well.

      This is mistaken.

Google, and Matt Cutts, have been saying very repeatedly, for so many years, that all TLD's are exactly the same for all ranking purposes. They've been saying it in writing, on websites and on blogs, and on videos in Q/A sessions at which it's frequently asked, and even at conferences. It's a subject on which nobody can seriously allege they'd have any reason to have been lying to people for all these years. And yet, however consistently and repeatedly they clarify it, a proportion of people always like to have (and debate) their own ideas about it.

The following threads are just a small selection of those that have recently clarified this sometimes misunderstood subject.

Forget it Alexa. That "mrsvirtualassistant" just goes around posting
nonsense replies. I still think it's some mis-managed bot. Notice
how the second part contradicts the first part? Makes one seem as
if you have to do nothing to a dot com in order to rank.

I didn't even notice that Paul you're right a clean contradiction lol. I can't understand why these threads keep going up time after time. That is what the search function on the forum allows, i.e. to search "do .info domains rank the same as .com's?" (or something similar)

My guess is you would find a ton of similar threads with what you need to know. Now that would be just too much like hard work wouldn't it
