YouTube changes layout.

Just thought I'd share that YouTube is starting to change their layout.

They are introducing more of G+ into feeds and there will likely be a pretty big impact on Youtube search results (video SEO) with impacts from G+.

Good luck.

    • Probably another attempt by google to bring back the dying G+
  • Didn't they just hit 400million+?

Doesn't seem like a dying network to me, especially now with rel=author being so important, the impact they are having with their local search, search ranking analytics, etc.

Yea they have 1/9 the active population as Facebook, but they only started a year ago with this project.

IMO they are doing just fine. They have so many projects to focus on, search being their primary that Google+ now brings all of those projects together and into one place.

If you are watching the integration of G+ all across the net, it's making a big impact.

I wouldn't say they are dying, they are just starting.

    • If they have hit anything close to that, it's only because they are tossing in the Google+ account with every signup to Gmail, Youtube, etc.

I wouldn't call it a dying network, but that's only because it was never really alive to begin with.

  • Yeah I saw the new layout yesterday.

I'm excited. As a YouTube partner already this should increase views and advertisement monies helping me earn more.
  • G+ is okay. It's achieved 'major status.' Most people are on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Google+ now. Pinterest is getting close too. LinkedIn is pretty much essential, too.
  • I'm going to be working with LinkedIn pretty soon.

I know that there is a direct impact from LinkedIn (via SEOmoz ranking factors).
