Tell me where I'm wrong about fiverr

Letting someone fiddle with your adsense sites with links,
traffic, etc. IMHO is against adsense TOS.

You are the one that google contracts with. You guarantee
that all traffic you send to an adsense site will not put the
advertisers at risk. When you get some knucklhead on fiverr,
you now are not in control. Google has banned plenty
of people for putting advertisers at risk.

Is turning your site over to fiverr a potential risk to advertisers?
Of course it is.

Follow me here. You are paying someone on fiverr. You are now
subletting your adsense traffic. That's different than just some
random person coming to your site and click bombing you.

One was in your control, one wasn't. Either way, put the
advertisers at risk, an risk, and your adsense account is at
risk.

You are free to say anything. I'll be in the background. I'd really
like to start a good conversation.

You're right. Nobody should buy traffic from Fiverr and send it to an Adsense site. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Of course you are right Paul about buying Fiverr traffic there is no doubt about that at all. By buying traffic to your site with Adsense on it and when those people click on the ads as far as I am concerned that you are effectively stealing from the advertisers who have paid to be on your site.

I think the same could be said for other poor quality PPC traffic bought at volume for the same purpose. I've never understood how comes the vendor's always claim it's adsense safe, why is it safe, in my eyes it isn't for the reasons you have explained in the OP.

As for Fiverr backlinks which you mentioned, well that's just like playing Roulette only with Roulette you've actually got a chance of winning, with Fiverr links you will almost certainly get a well deserved Google penalty sooner or later.

Edit: In answer to where you are wrong about Fiverr? You are not wrong at all in my eyes. The only point I would add is like I said I wouldn't limit your points to Fiverr but also to other PPC platforms.

First let me state, I agree with you but this goes for anyone you allow to do SEO for you. Not just Fiverr, anyone other then yourself.

Given the track record I have seen in your posts, not sure if I am buying the good conversation part.. you seem to just look for people to berate.

Here is where things go wrong or perhaps you just run small sites, I don't know to be honest. If you run a large site your user base and visitors are going to create a crap load of links to your site. I have no control over that. Besides being cheaper.. not really any difference.

I think the majority of people who slap adsense on their site don't know or don't care that it is a joined program with adwords.

People are paying REAL DOLLARS to advertise on your site. Most adsense users just think, "Hey cool! I just paste in this code and random ads pop up and I get paid!"

If it were looked at from a different perspective, would these advertisers pay you directly to put an ad on your site?

It's most likely not for most sites out there, but because of the way Adsense is structured, crappy sites are allowed to put these ads on their sites and instantly have advertisers pay for their crappy traffic.

    ----

Now look at Fiverr and think about it the other way around. Let's say you made an awesome new website and put together a fresh Adwords campaign to promote that site.

You look at your traffic sources and find that someone is buying traffic from Fiverr that are getting click throughs to your ad and of course, conversion rates suck because nobody cares about you.

Would you not get irritated and, maybe even furious??

I don't think I have ever heard of a good story or results concerning fiverr traffic, though they are entertaining to read on how stupid people can be..

If you buy traffic from Fiverr and send it to a site with Adsense, you have no right to complain when Google bans your account.

Personally the only traffic I would buy is banner or text links on same niche reputable forums or blogs. I wouldn't be looking for traffic sources on fiverr.

Same goes with Adfly. There traffic will also get you banned from adsense. Google sees it as forced views and a way of cheating the system.

Only way of getting around that issue would be to send the traffic to another site of yours that don't have adsense. With links back to your site that does.

Obviously you cant guarantee that people will follow the link to your site but at least you know the ones that do wont get you banned
