not stupid at all, but yes, you should have some keywords in your title.
Second or third word in if possible. Keep your title under 70 characters if possible

    Hi LevyB30,

    To answer your question...

Yes, the site title should contain your main keyword if you optimize your page or website to rank for certain keywords. It will be a lot harder to rank your page without having the main keyword in the title.

However, this doesn't mean that you can't include you site name as well. You can include both, but put the site name more towards the back and the main keyword more towards the front for the pages that you want to rank in the search engines.

Are you talking about the homepage, or individual pages on your site?

In my opinion: your website should definitely contain your main targeting keywords - why ? Imagine the website is about basketball, but the name of it is: .earnmoney dot com - Sound's stuipid right ?

Now from the last year meta tags are not very important in the seo. only +1 but the title with keyword is good because it made your site identity in serp..
