PR 3-5 backlinks. How much would you pay for these?

I'm talking about actual web page ranks, not just the homepage. How much would you pay for each of these per month?

I've read somewhere that on average its about $10/month for a PR 4 backlink.

But as far as services of this kind are concerned, most of the time the backlinks you rent from these sites are unrelated to your topic/niche of your website. How much does it matter?

Thanks!

  • It depends on a lot. Some sites sell these links for $10 p/m as you say, whereas others might charge 100's.

Domain age, niche, OBL, blah blah blah.....

  • relevant traffic is one of the most important thing in the seo. search engine also prefer that your site got a related traffic. so i suggest you to buy related backlink but not focus on high pr.
high pr site is on the second position. first thing is relevant traffic..

    • I agree with you, things have changed now. Especially after the Panda update it's very important to create only, and only, good links - which are related to your niche and if they have the other positive factors... like high page rank, then it's better.

  • Hi Geraldspins,

Well, actually it depends. Not all websites with a PR 4 or PR 5 are built equal. Some of these sites are well-maintained, with a lot of traffic, and actively improving.

While others of these sites might be of bad quality, spammy, and might be shot down in the search engines at any time.

For a PR 4, perhaps $10 a month. Depending on the site, if it's a good quality site that's there for the long-term, probably more.

It also depends on how many other links there are on the site.

The fact that the backlink from the site is unrelated to my niche probably doesn't matter. But the fact that's unrelated makes it stand out more, and you might get slapped by Google for buying links if it seems too obvious.

  • Well I think that, not all websites(pr2-3) charged you to adding your backlink. Some of them provides you quality backlink absolutely free.
  • Don't buy back links. It's easy to get free high quality back links from relevant sites just by participating in forums and blogs related to your website. Here's a list of them that someone has posted: /adsense-ppc-seo-discussion-forum/693038-list-300-high-google-pagerank-dofollow-blogs-commentluv.html

    • Thanks, but I'm actually interested in selling these links, not buying them . I have a niche blog which has 15 PR4 webpages and 1 PR5 webpage, but I'm not sure how much and where to start selling them.

I'd probably sell the PR4 links for $10 each with a limit of 10 outbound links per page. 15 outbound links per page just seems a bit too much.
  • You can get pr backlinks from blog commenting too.
  • Or you can do link exchange but link exchange is not too helpful today..
