keyword help

I make a portable niche product. My site rank #2 on Google on the keyword with "portable". For example, "portable sandwich". However, without the "portable", I'm on Google page 3. Somehow, Google figured out my product is a "portable sandwich", but not a "sandwich" (I have to give credit to them).

On quality score, I'm getting 10/10 on "portable sandwich", and only 4/10 on "sandwich".

Problem is, the word "portable" is NOT a frequently searched phrase. For example, most people would type "sandwich", instead of "portable sandwich".

I tried all kinds of ways to improve ranking without "portable", including changing the page title to "Sandwichs | My Yummy Home-made Sandwich". No help.

What would you suggest I do?

  • You need to build high quality & relevant backlinks using desired keywords as anchor text
  • Yes if you ad more content and backlinks, google will love that and bump you up in the search engine a little more.
