Local google kicks the site to 15 page, while google.com shows on 1st page.

I have a site, for an online shop, (a distributor for some company).

It is based in Philippines and 70% of visitors are from Philippines.
I've been doing some seo, and now I can see that my site shows on first page in google.com for the query of my company's name.

(It is also exactly the same for any other localities, such as google.ru, google.com.in etc etc.)

However, in google.com.ph, (a Filipino branch), my LP is only on 15th page.

Shouldn't it be the opposite? Anyone got any ideas why it's like that?

If that's not a local search query issue, then what might come to my mind is
Networks latency between datacenters and their priorities to get updated. It seems
google.com has more priority than google.com.ph in that network to get data updated.

      That;s what I thought initially.
But as i've checked a dozen of other googles, the all show the lp consistentely on 1st or 2nd page.

But on google.com.ph, its still on 15th. And a bad thing is that actually redirects you to local site when you open google...

      I'll keep monitoring it.

I think that's the future of search engines to be honest.

Google (and other search engines) want the most relevent information possible.

As a result, you'll start to see localized searches.

    For example.

Someone in NYC who types in "best pizza around here" will get different results than someone in Italy.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Yes but we're based in Philippines. So if someone search on google.com.ph it would make sense to rank us higher. So it should be the other way around...

I also checked the ranking today, and you will be amazed...

While it still stays on google.com on the same position on first page on google.com.ph it now actually jumped to 19th page. What a shame.

I actually send a reconsideration request just now. Because it just doesn't look right...
    I'll keep this updated. ^.^

Now, the Google replied that there were no manual actions taken so there is no need for the reconsideration request.
    Meanwhile...
My site still remains on the 15th page of the google.com.ph, while on the other googles - 1st page. WTF?

In order to promote your websites in the local search engines try local business directories and classifieds which will help you a lot.

Great idea, though most of our local directories lack quality.
But I'll work on that anyway, thanks.

Also, I wonder How about, if I stick the name of the country to my site's titles, especially the home page, would that make any sense?

PS.: and yeah, how about adding the country name to the anchor text in my backlinks?
