New blog/web2.0/article sites we should be using?

I've been looking over the guru lists that people have posted here and the "other" seo forum and noticed that 99% of the sites on those lists are the SAME sites people have been recommending for the past 3-5 YEARS at least.

There has to have been more growth that that! So I think we need to break out our search engines and see if we can't hunt down some new "new" sites over the next couple days. No more of this blogger.com regurgitation...

you can add Social Bookmarking Hubmesh.com and Share All - Your Source for Social News and Networking in your list. They both are good and worth trying

I will still recommend old sites. Why? Because Authority and OLD Sites are one of the ranking factors of Google! The old the better! hahaha..

    Regards,

Good luck not having them spammed to death if they get posted here. Kinda like shooting yourself in the foot? No?

How's about finding (or even better...creating) your own link sources and keeping them to yourself?

Problem with the old ones is it doesn't do much for your footprint if you've already been using them for 3+ years. Also all your competition has the EXACT same domains, not worth the added age/pr. And by the way, pr is not longer even a meaningful metric... you're wasting your time if you're still looking at that My tip of the day.

Mind showing us a link to your source? Unless it comes from a Google made blog/video/article you are talking nonsense.

PR is Google's way to ranking a website, the higher the rank the more authorative it is. If you have a backlink from a reputable website (likely to be high pr and difficult to obtain artifically) it is more likely than not to be an significant part of the algorithm .

Don't spread rumours, some newbies might think you know what you're talking about - That's my tip of the day.

While these forums are popular I don't think that talking quietly in a thread like this will "blow up" a resource/site lol. In fact you WANT a certain degree of activity on the sites you use, as a ghost town that nobody knows about is as bad as someplace thats spammed to death. You just want HQ manual posting.

Article sites: goarticles.com, amazines.com, sooperarticles.com, abcarticledirectory.com, articlerich.com - these are the only article sites ive found to have do follow and your articles get reviewed/posted very quickly. Once you have a bunch of articles on most of these sites they get posted immediately. In addition, articlesnatch is no follow but the submission time is almost zero-all my articles get posted in roughly 3 - 5 minutes.
