Top of Google in One Day?

Yeah if you mean is it possible to show up on page 1 on google for the serps in 1 day, 24 hours? Then yes. I've done it before many times with various keywords. Now granted, these were long-tail, but just sayin.
If you mean trying to rank for a highly searched, competitive niche keyword like mortgage loans, and get page 1 organic rankings in 1 day, no freakin way. Unless you use adwords and pay to be there.

If you want to rank page 1 for a certain keyword real fast then submit a paid press release, these can really do wonders cause the sites are of high authority and somehow Google treats news different then normal results.

Otherwise it will be hard and a bit of a gamble whether you reach page one in a day or not. (this counts only for very easy keywords although with the press release you can sometimes also rank for the somewhat tougher keywords). We once ranked page 1 in a day for a medium competitive keyword with a PRweb press release. Well the site didn't rank but the press release page of PRweb ranked obvious.

Possible to get in low competition and longtail keywords. You might get a honeymoon boost for new site for two weeks but then you will have to prove your bonafides by creating content that will engage visitors so retention rate is high.

Yes you could reach number 1 on first day if you write about something that has never been shared on the internet before but to maintain that top ranking your site's PR needs to be higher otherwise Google will push you down the very next day when high authority websites write about the same topic.

If the content is demanding enough with no competition, you have a pretty good chance to get there quick.

Yes I have done it. If you provide a unique service with perfectly optimised keywords, title and description. And submit it to google webmasters and add a sitemap as well. Specifically if the website does not contain too many links on the page and more importantly does not link to an external website. Just has links to its own domain for different pages. For example Fake Traffic Maker | FakeTrafficMaker.com (just 1 day!).

SEO is not a magic to get ranked in one day. I think, the keyword should be long tail with low quality or you should go with black hat tactics by using link farms, blog networks, etc. After using black hat tactics you will be ranked no doubt in that but you will be penalized if Googlebot indexed your website in that time.

Don't go with short time SEO by using other techniques. Try to make white hat, it's long term but its a great for your brand, website, product.

I don't think it would be possible ever. Don't be bother with it.

It's definitely possible to get listed on Google Page 1 in under 24 hours.

If it is a Brand New Website, it would be much harder to achieve. It would have to be a Keyword with very low competition.

If it is a single Page/Subdomain of an existing website, then it's not hard at all to do this.


A way to reach on Page 1 of Google in under 24 hours would be:

1) Have an Existing Site, and the URL that is getting ranked in under 24 hours would be a New Page/Article on that site.

2) The Existing site would need to have Medium to High Authority.

3) The Competition would need to be Low-Medium for that target Keyword.


I can confirm that this is true, because I saw this happen myself, just 1 week ago.

- I did a test with a Keyword having 25,000 Search Results.

- I posted a new page based around that keyword, on my site which has decent Authority.

- I simply Pinged the page when finished. Did No Off-Page SEO work. (0 Backlinks)

- In under 24 hours, the page was on Page 1 of Google SERP, Position #7.

- Today, it is still on Page 1, but Position #4 now. (Still no Backlink work done)


So like I said, this can work very easily for Existing Authority sites. It happens ALL the time when News sites release new Articles.


What is much harder, but still possible to do, is to get a brand new website to rank on Page 1.

I did an experiment some weeks ago with a brand new website, and I got to Page 3 it 1 day. (No Backlink work)

I'm sure that others can make it to page 1 in under 24 hours.

I don't think so unless like said above, a lower competition keyword with a perfectly optimized page with lots of relevant content.
