Why do you want to do that? In these post Panda/Penguin/EMD times, that is a classic example of what you shouldn't be doing. Look at the results in Google for any given keyword if you don't believe me. It's extremely rare to find pages with that kind of 'optimisation' these days.

Instead, I would advise you to use your target keyword phrase creatively. Say you are targeting 'lose weight fast', instead of your article title being exactly that, a better approach would be something like:-

These 10 Tried and Tested Tips Will Help You In Your Quest To Lose Weight Fast

...or something like that. In fact, I probably wouldn't even have 'lose weight fast' in the title. More likely, it'd be something like this:-

Want To Lose Weight? Want To Do It Fast? Here's How

I wouldn't have the phrase in the description. I probably wouldn't even have it in the article itself, just variations of it.

"When I decided I wanted to get healthy and lose some weight, I wanted to do it as quickly as possible. I needed results fast!"

    etc.

Being creative and posting content that human beings actually want to share is a much better approach than optimising articles for keywords these days, in my opinion.

I'll tell you right now. I don't listen to any of these h1 h2 h3 bold italics underline crap.

I've been hitting my rankings just by WRITING what's on my mind. I sound HUMAN with a ton of personality.

Why do they rank? Because of KEYWORD research. I could careless if one page is only getting 3-4 views a day. Why is that? Because I continue to write other articles which all piles up!

However, writing is for my own preference, I don't mind it.

I definitely agree with this one. SEO keywords are important but maybe it's better if you write something genuinely helpful to people. So maybe Unique (& helpful) content first then SEO second?

Based on experience, it's hard at first but once you get going on writing a few more articles, you'll get the hang of it

        Good luck!

Well, it's still a good idea to target a keyword in your article. I'm not saying 2%, 3%. I'm saying that it should appear more times than other words. You shouldn't be going after a specific per cent. If you can omit using the keyword, to avoid sounding generic, you should do so.

The great thing about having Wordpress, or any other blog platform is that you could actually add the keywords in the tags. This doesn't affect the quality of the content in any way and is still contributing to the KW density. But don't get spammy on tags too, it can hurt you.
