Dear WF users,

We are a relative young and new online marketing company in the Netherlands. Our expertises are primairely in SEO and SEA. The problem is that our knowlegde in Analytics is relative poor.

The reason I post this Thread is because I want to expand my knowledge in Analytics. Things like connecting AdWords accounts with Analytics, and importing goals is already known with us. But if any of you guys have suggestions for Learning material like structural video's I would love to be informed.

  • Forgive me but I'm a little confused how you got so good at SEO without tracking? Or were you using something else to track what you were doing?

    By SEA I assume you mean "search engine adverting" - Again did you use AdWords for this or something else?

    AdWords have their very own training... Google AdWords Certification Program Help

    Inside Adwords you can go straight to analytics and look at your AdWords data (Tools and analysis tab and then Google analytics). You won't have any organic traffic there though until you put the analytics code on your, or a clients, site.

    May I suggest you put your SEO business on hold until you fgure this out?

    I only say this because you're the first person I've ever come across running an SEO company that hasn't figured out analytics.

    Really tracking should be the first thing you figure out.

    • ghehe nice compliment Richard! But I want to be more advanced with analytics. Things like setting goals and analyse data is already known. I would love to learn things like "had a ppc click any influence on a conversion due organic or vice versa

    Google Analytics - YouTube

    They cover Beginner to Advanced topics. It think they should provide all that your company needs to know about Google Analytics.
