  • There are various tools are available to analyze the keywords competition but I always go with google adwords keyword tool.
  • Of course, you should use only Adwords Keyword Tool as it is really too helpful today, go deeper in any keyword to find low competitive keywords I would say.

    • You morons realize that the Google Keyword Tool tells you nothing about the level of SEO competition for keywords, right? No, of course you don't. You are just posting to post.

      For me, if I am analyzing a keyword, I am analyzing the top 3 sites in the SERP. I want to see the site structure, are they properly optimized, utilizing a good internal link structure, etc. After that, I'm analyzing their backlinks in depth.

      There are not any tools that really do a good job of this. SEOmoz's keyword analysis tool is about the closest thing, but even that is not very reliable. You pretty much have to do it by hand to be truly accurate.

  • My vote also for Google Adwords tool for keyword analysis.
  • Wordtracker search phrases device gives you competitors data basically summing up how many people are optimizing for that keyword and key phrase.
