I have been doing well with a number of link pyramid gigs. Have helped me rank sites for cheap.

Pretty sure i could rank a new mini site for a semi competitive phrase with $50 of gigs. You just gotta choose the right ones.

I think there are lots of good gigs in dfiverr specially for press release manual submission which are really great for submissions.
