What is a good strategy that can last 30 days and can get results for an iOS and Android game?

Sphero Glide by Skylar Graika — Kickstarter

- It has a facebook page
- It has a video posted on youtube
- Posted on both 9gag and reddit
- Created a tumblr page with relevant tags
- Posted a link to the page on my facebook as well as my LinkedIn profile.
- Send out a press release via prMac (but none of the big iOS sites have covered it yet)

Any suggestions?

You need BIG players in the same niche promoting to their traffic.

You only have 30 days, so SEO is out.

I'm not looking for SEO. I only rely on SEO if I am marketing a product that has already been released and needs to be exposed on a long-term basis. I'm looking to reach out to as many interested people as possible in the 30-day timeframe. So my question is....how to do this? Do I promote to the same forums and social networks on a consistent basis to ensure engagement?

Actually I would say if you only have 30 days SEO is in - purely because after 30 days you don't care what happens to the site.

If you knew you were going to launch on a set date, 60 days before you could register the domain and deploy the site then use blog networks to push it to the top in time for the KickStarter launch.

In fact you would probably rank it 30 days before that so you could build a 'prelaunch' list and generate some buzz!

Kickstarter will leave the page up indefinitely If the campaign reaches it's goal. If the campaign fails, they'll remove the page/s. That's why everything on Kickstarter looks like it's successful, they delete all the failed campaigns (lol).

Kickstarteer creates an illusion of a 100% success rate.

Ahhh I didn't realise that - cheeky buggers

So if a campaign hits its goal, its allowed to keep running collecting more and more money forever?

But if you miss it, tough - no more money?

          Seems bizzare!

No, it it hits the goal, the page stays up forever. The amount of money that it reached is the amount it gets minus the kickstarter fee which is around 5% I think.

That's the risk of kickstarter. If your campaign fails, you lose everything: the money and the page.

But anyways, back on topic. Any suggestions for a 30-day plan (now it's 26 days)?

Even If the campaign reaches it's goal & nobody new can get in on the Kickstarter deal, it's still free advertisement that could lead to a future sale outside of kickstater.

I would go with social, I don't think you have time for SEO, besides it's a new product , I doubt people would even know what keywords to search for.

Ideally you would have big niche players with a following ready to support your Kickstarter campaign before the campaign ever went live.
