I just saw my PageRank change on my site either yesterday or this morning. Has anyone else seen a change in their PageRank?

The update is definitely in progress. My sites keep changing PR between their old PR and what I assume to be the updated one. Hopefully it will all be finished within the next day or so.

I hope it will change soon - I've spent ages link building for my blog but it's still PR0. Come on Google, show me some love!

EDIT: Just checked PRChecker.info and it's up to PR1 - disappointed, because I was hoping for at least PR2. Never mind!

      Hi,

Yes, there has been an update going on for the past 3 days, bit of a Google index shuffle or Google dance happening.

My ranking and PR on a lot of my newer sites are all over place, older domains somewhat more stable. Check these ranking changes for one of my sites over the past 2 days. This a 30 day old domain.

This site usually ranks #2 for its Niche, just below Google Product Results, and as you can see it has been all over the place over the past 48 hours. Fortunatly it seems to be settling back at its #2 spot.

      Cheers
      Nick

LOL - One of my sites sites keeps jumping around over the last few months.

    It was a 4, then a 3, then 0, then 3 again, then 4, now today its a 0 again.

But here's the kicker - NO CHANGE IN TRAFFIC OR SE RANKINGS WHATSOEVER! I don't think PR means too much anymore, at least if you have an established website with good content.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

One of mine went from PR0 to PR2.

None of my others have been updated yet (or haven't changed)

I made a post earlier about pagerank but I guess this is probably a good spot to post. I just a site that is a month old go from PR NA to PR 5, is this really going to help me all that much.

What exactly will this site do for me as a PR 5 that it wouldn't as a lower PR. Does anyone really know just exactly how PR can help you in rankings or is it all just for indexing type stuff.

    Thanks,
    ^_-

I have many sites, in the same niche where sites with lower PR out rank sites with higher PR, so while it obviouslly has an effect on search engine rankings, I tend to use my high PR sites to link to my newer sites, getting them indexed quicker and ranking higher faster.

What may be more important than Page Rank, is Pigeon Rank: Google Technology (tee hee )
