How do I rank a YouTube video on Google?

Make sure your title has your keyword and possibly secondary or LSI keywords in it to start and use all the space you can which is 100 chararcters. Then when your writing your description make sure you use the entire 5000 characters and in it use your keyword about 2-3% of the time and use LSI keywords in there also. Also maximize your tags which is also a 120 character max. One thing that I also found works is adding your YouTube URL at the bottom of your description. The reason is because the Bots are going to pick up the videos and use it for content on posts. Usually the links in the beginning of the description get ripped out but they dont go through and rip links out of the content. So because we put the link at the bottom whats going to happen is those links will go in the content on different blogs, now you have links pointing back to your site and it turbo charges your video. its a sneaky way of getting your videos ranking high. I dont know many people doing this.

Transcripts and captions are also a great way to get your video found in Google and YouTube search results because, by adding a transcript, you are providing search engines with the exact content of your videos as content that can be crawled in addition to the title, description, keywords, and tags.
