Welp, It Happened To Me Too...Adsense Account Banned!

LOL I figured it was only a matter of time, since I was running an anti-Toyota blog called Toyota Deathwatch Updates. Oh well, I only made $10 bucks...and I was about to move away from it altogether.

Any thoughts/suggestions on replacement ads? I also have quite a few dating advice sites as well.

PS I have zero interest in trying to revive my Adsense account.

Move on to something else, anything else below adsense is just pennies. Maybe you can use that blog to build a following and get advertisements from American car companies on your site...

Nah, I refuse to take adverts from any other car company. That would compromise the integrity of my content.

Why would putting ads from any other car company on your site "compromise the integrity of my content?" Would the adverts change the content some how and make it less trustworthy or believable? I don't understand your logic here...

Personally I would run ads, however I sorta see where the op is comming from. If your accepting ads from and getting paid by Ford you may be less likely to write a critical post about them or may be less critical of them.

I agree though you can run a totally unbiased site and accept ads from whomever wants to pay for htem with the understanding your going to express your opinion good or bad regardless of whether someone is an advertiser or not

Both good answers, thanks. I can see how it might create the appearance of bias.

Perhaps your adsense account got banned, because Toyota complained.

If so, they might like to pay you a pretty penny to buy the domain and make your site disappear... LOL

You hit the nail on the head...I don't want people to think that someone is paying me to report negative news about Toyota, just so I can promote their stuff. I'll keep looking for someone to promote, but thanks for all of the advert advice!

Also, nice Forester XT BTW! I'm also going to start covering Subie info, possibly once a week or so...just like the highlights.

In regards to my domain name, I just switched everything over to tdwupdates.com. My old domain dies next month. The reason why I did this is so that I can start getting backlinks from other (bigger) car sites, and to expand my news coverage/editorals to other makes, as I can only write about hating Toyota for so long. LOL :p

You broke the rules of adsense. It did not "just happend to me too.."
              nonsense.

              Acceptable
Consumer awareness sites (e.g. review sites, both positive and negative)

              Not acceptable
Sites cannot advocate violence against any individual, group or organization (protected or unprotected)
Sites cannot contain hate/anti content targeted against any group or individual
With a site name like Toyota Deathwatch, what did you expect?

You broke the rules. Simple. If you did not know the rules, like 90% of
the people here seem to go along with, that's your fault.

Well if you've lost Adsene then forget about earning money PC.

You might try CPA or becoming an Amazon affiliate.

No idea how you'd go about monetizing that car blog.

With those dating websites...look at CPA for dating sites.

Research at Affiliate Marketing - Find the Best Affiliate Programs and CPA Offers from OfferVault

I just plugged in Zoosk and apparently some networks (I've never heard of are paying $9.50 leads.

I also hear they run through Google Affiliate Network..But Good Luck getting in there now! haha

Also OP, I'd refrain from using registered trademarks in your domain names from now on. It never ends well.

True, I didn't think about that.

I'm sure even in 2012 there's people still clicking their own Adsense Ads trying to make money. Probably logged into a Google account & click bombing their own Ads, lol.
