Spinning My Wheels Big Time. Frustrated..And Very Confused!

:confused: Yes, I am failing big time in Internet Marketing. All my hard work remains the same. Checking my stats every day and seeing the dreaded numbers $0.00. Not a good feeling. I feel like I'm at the end of my rope and don't know where to turn to. I've tried so many things and failed.

As far as my sales and marketing skills goes, it was never my strengths online or offline. I've even tried SEO as well, wasn't good at it and didn't like it one bit.

So for months I had been looking into PPC. I have read and studied numerous PPC ebooks for months and many late nights and wanted to give it a shot. So I did. I tested out a few products from Clickbank on Bing ads, adcenter and had zero success. My previous niche I tried was movie downloads. I picked out some really good keywords and chose "Exact" on search. Not broad or phrase. Burned through $300 just like that with zero sales. I had well over 300 clicks and no conversions.

So apparently, I'm doing it all wrong and need to stop what I'm doing and start over. But I don't know where or how. I'm exhausted and defeated. My brain is literally going in circles.

I would be ecstatic if I were making $300 a week right now. It's hard to do when you can't even get one sale. And I will say, Internet Marketing is VERY VERY difficult.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Why are you trying to promote clickbank through PPC? I have never heard of that... it seems like selling Clickbank products requires you to build up your ethos through an email list or blog in order to get a respectable conversion rate, at least that's my experience with that network. Maybe try selling products that are inherently respected and wanted by people and are recognizable, campaigns that get people into the lists where you can build your credibility and sell them those virtual products, or campaigns that do not require a purchase such as CPA offers.

    A far as the SEO is concerned, just write about a specific and targeted niche for maybe a post a day and then target the visitors of those posts to an email list or selection of products where you can monetize them (I personally like Amazon Associates but many may disagree). If you do proper keyword research and keep up your work rate, link building is really not essential assuming you target low competition keywords. If you make a post a day you can easily expect to see consistent results within a month or two. The only link building I would recommend is guest blogging on related sites to yours, social media and some well maintained forum threads on related forums. These are not as much for ranking as they are for getting alternate sources of target traffic, but they dont hurt for ranking

    You need to create a traffic lure, right now the only thing you have to offer is an affiliate link, at least that's all I see in OP.

    Ask not what your country (traffic) can do for you, ask what you can do for your country (traffic).

      That is very true. Seems like the days of direct linking are long gone. I've been reading alot on here today about list building. Seems like that's where everyone is making very good money.

    Just a few pointers.
    • Never promote ClickBank or other products if you're paying for traffic. Sell your product for 100% commission first, then push affiliate products.
    • Create your own product.
    • When spending money on PPC, capture leads and maybe set up an autoresponder.
    • Make sure your website design is trustworthy. Same goes for the sales page.
    • Stick to one specific niche - one you like most. And outdo everyone.
    • Be very skeptical about what you buy or read. Even this.

        Clickbank and PPC do not mix my fellow warrior...

        try another $300, but this time with CPA, and get paid per lead. Nothing to sell to the visitor, thus chances of you making some dough will be much, much higher

        if you dont want to get traffic by paying for it, you are stuck with free methods that cost time, i.e: SEO

    I did clickbank before (as an affiliate) and I found out what work best is using review style websites. Wait for big product launch and create a blog "product name review". It's very easy to rank for such keywords if you know SEO and you can make quite good money with this tactic.
