No SERPs improvement, what's next?

OK, I have a site that was hit by Panda and Penguin update. So I have re-optimized the website and have been backlinking the site.

After 4 months of backlinking, no SERPs improvement at all.

The site has Pagerank (PR2), Google Webmaster said that this website is not penalized. All pages are indexed.

So what's next? :rolleyes:

    What's your backlink strategy? Perhaps you need to reevaluate your website.

      I completely agree. It maybe the case that the backlinks are not quality and you maybe using techniques that are doing more harm than good. Also it might be a case of looking at your onsite as well and making sure it has not been over-optimised for the search engines. If you send through some more information, you will be sure to get some good answers from many people on the forum.

      There is no specific time to recover from Panda or Penguin penalty. You should probably amend your link building strategy (along with addition of fresh content) to make things better.

      Did you placed "Google Webmasters Reconsideration" request ?

    Linkbuilding is useless unless you get your links indexed in Search engines.

    you should have to index your baclinks that you already have created. when your links will index
    your ranking will improve. Hope this help

    Try building contextual and thematic links for your sites which are relevant to your site's niche. Irrelevant links can only make your site indexed and may not help you in ranking.

    Did you remove the spammy backlinks using disavow tool?
