    I'm assuming you know about relevant back links and even linking out to relevant sites. In addition to that you want to get some engagement through social networks.

    The ultimate way to get fast rankings is to build a site that's ranking for a lot of long tail keywords in the same niche. Once traffic and interaction on your site takes place (through comments, watching videos, social media) and Google sees you as an "authority" in your niche, ranking (difficult) keywords gets way easier. There was a product that just came out that talked about how being an authority is the way to go for ranking tough keywords fast. I think it was by two Alex's (one being Alex Becker, I think).

      Yep, SEO is not for the weak minded.

      But once you taste success with SEO, you just keep coming back... its like an evil drug, hahaha. Once the search engines trust and like you, Its a true internet marketing dream, making money while you sleep or an "autopilot".

      unlike the gurus who have to create and launch products to make their dough

      anyway, the hard work is worth it folks.

    Social Media , Press Release ,Guest Blog Post and minor forum posting is still working well until the latest Google Panda and Penguin update.
    Just make sure everything you post is unique and quality .

    Until now , mostly short content and poor quality like classified and social bookmarking being kill.
