A Basic Keyword Tool?

Hi,
I'm looking for a simple keyword tool that will automate the lookups I need to do. I have been looking at a lot of services, but it seems that these services all provide a ton of features that I just don't need.

Really all I would need is:
1. lookup of keywords in google and bing once per month
2. the ability to generate branded reports (or at least cut and paste the data into Excel)
3. Possibly to check backlinks -- but I use WT tools for the most part on this one, anyway.

Thanks!

  • You should check keyword scout and long tail pro.
Both have free version to test the functionality, before making a purchase decision.
  • I use keyword Samurai, You can try its free version
  • Google keyword external tool is an best one to analyze keywords.

    • I think google keyword tool is enough. You just have to analyze the keywords, the number of search per month and the competition
  • use cuterank
  • I think semrush is really good for small scale
  • I use Google keyword tool. Also when you search in google tool don't forget to analyze google searches ...
  • I would stay far away from Keyword Scout. The software is always broken and returns more errors than it does data. You'll be happy that you didn't waste your money on it.
  • No real need to go much further than the Google Keyword Tool for basic research. It's what most of the tools use anyway.
  • Market samurai is awesome IMO
  • Yeah Google keyword tool does a good job and recommends other relevant keywords and terms. Always look at the exact searches though rather than broad
  • you can try on google adword tools.
  • The Main Tool for Keyword Suggestion, you can choose google Keyword suggestion tool and Rawan tool , SEOMoze tool.
  • I use Google Keyword Tool & Market Samurai.
sometime if i want long tail keywords i will use Keyword Researcher
