Hi guys,

For an article with {product name} review, do you put it up {product name} review or {product name} reviews?

Which one has a better response in terms of conversions, review or reviews?

I always advise my clients to use "review" instead of "reviews", as it's really ONE review of a product that is being written. I don't think it's worth the "temporary ranking benefits" to purposely misspell stuff.

If you really want to add "reviews" in your article, here is how you can do it. I would do it just once per review:

At the bottom of your review, write this:
Here are actual PRODUCTNAME REVIEWS from real customers:

    - "Paraphrase a review here"

    - "And another one here"

    - "Maybe a third one"

  • Hi, in my PR3 blog, made entirely by internet marketing reviews, I always insert the title of product plus the world review.
And with a blog opened back in 2008 I'm able to get that results in top 3 places on Google no more than 5 seconds lates I click "Publish".

So use the term "review" any time you want.
    It brings you only visitors.

    See you soon,
    Alessandro

I say target both. Some people search for "review" while others search for "reviews"

I think the targeted audience are the same therefore your converting rate is not much different. However, if you use word Review and not Reviews there are potentially more searches.

I personally tend to associate 'reviews' with a product niche such as 'breadmaker reviews', and the word 'review' with a particular model such as 'breadmaker XYZ review'. But in general it's easy to target both using the title, meta description and url, and of course in the content.

I normally target reviews and I usually have a better chance ranking for both review and reviews.

When I target just review, I have less chance of ranking for reviews.

Sometimes the difference in the amount of SERP traffic is HUGE (singular vs plural).

The question is, which gets more traffic (singular vs plural), only you will know that answer by testing?

I assume your talking about SEO since this thread is in the SEO forum.
