What do you reckon are the best WP plugins (as of November 2012) for optimizing a page as well as you can before publishing an article, and also ensuring pages get indexed immediately?
#search engine optimization #article #fully #optimize #plugins #seo #wordpress
  • For on-page optimization, there is a paid plugin called "SEO Pressor", there's also "Easy Wordpress SEO" which is a cheaper option (but not worse in any way ). Both should be found here on WF I think.

    • There is plugin "seo localize" it combines features from the 3 plugins (seopressor, content spinner and instant seo pages)
  • Anton542, yes Seo Pressor is great, I was using All in One Seo, but I switched..Seo Pressor has way more better features then All in One...Stick with this one for now

    • They are two totally different plugins that do totally different jobs.

A lot of people use SEOPressor and All-In-One-SEO together.

If you want to get an impression of SEOPressor, just search on this forum, and you'll get plenty of results.
  • SEO Pressor is great, I'm using it on all my websites.
  • I also hear good things about the "SEO Pressor"
  • I am also using this plugin for this purpose,,,,,,,,,,
  • What makes SEO Pressor better than All in SEO?
  • SEO Pressor is $100 so I want to make sure it would be money well spent. If I can gain most things out of All in SEO, a free plugin, then I don't think it would make sense in spending $100, but if significantly different and people have claimed very good results with it, I can justify purchasing it.

    • Save your money. IMHO SEO Pressor is way over priced for what it does. There are much cheaper and free plugins that do the same thing that SEO Pressor does and it most cases, do it better.

Anyway, on-page SEO has moved on from the days of keyword density, keywords in bold, italics etc.

My suggestion is to install Yoast WordPress SEO. It's free, well supported, very flexible and does everything you need.
  • Have you tried SEO Ultimate too.......? I'm using it and it is good I think.
  • You can try the All in One SEO, it's a free plug-in that's easy to use which allows you to get the basic SEO standards. It allows you to easily include title tags to your posts and other keywords. Another amazing plugin is the Google Analytics for WordPress which makes adding Google Analytics a breeze; and allows search engines and automatic clickout, as well as downloading your Wordpress blog tracking.
  • I have bought it and it really slows down your pages, money not well spend.
  • SEO Professor and "All In One SEO Pack"
  • There's no plugin that can do that.

IMO most WP optimization plugins overoptimize the heck out of your articles.
