With the crack down on EMD, which sites now you recommend:

Micro Niche, Niche or broad niche (authority) sites for adesnse or affiliates marketing.

There was no such crack down on EMD. The so called "EMD" update was about unnatural backllink portolfios. And in particular, it focussed on penalizing sites that over optimized the same anchor text.

If you have a general domain with ALL links incoming with the SAME anchor text, the Emd could ruin your Sh#T. If you have a targeted domain with a diverse backlink portfolio, the Emd update ignored you completely.

That being said, I'll now now answer your question. My personal preference is toward sites that last the long term. That means high quality content with a natural backlink portfolio. It doesn't matter to me whether the site is micro, niche or broad. As long as it attracts traffic, and won't be subject to any future Google animals.

In my experience authority sites seem to survive the algy updates thus far with google. This is a personal experience of mine not based on facts for everybody else.

Authority sites are useful for longterm usage through adsense, micro niche sites are still useful for affiliate marketing, you need to have more number of posts to gain the traffic.

By micro niche, most times people think you are referring to
junk, very small website. Emphasis on the junk.

But then, it's always about JUNK! People just cannot stomach
to say this word and do not quote google completely.

Has nothing to do with micro niche, EMD, or whatever.

How about a large, crammed full of junk site, with adsense?
Is that okay because it's "macro" niche?

Use authority sites. They comply much better with Google's serps.
