Do you promote an article containing affiliate link in Adwords ?

Hi Adwords experts,
I would like to hear from affiliate marketers using Adwords to make money, whether or not to promote an article containing one or max. two affiliate links ?
By now I promote articles with the link to inner page where the affiliate link is, but I would like improve ROI by placing affiliate link right on landing page.
P.S Please no responses in the style "Adwords hates affiliates" etc...because it is simply not truth.
