Is there any keyword research tool like Long tail Pro, or Market Samurai that doesn't need proxies?

I have been reading all I can about these keyword research tools and I want to make sure I purchase and use the best one. What is the best program to use and are there any that don't require proxies? The ones I am zeroing in are Market Samurai, Long tail Pro, Micro Niche Finder, Niche Finder and Ultimate Niche Finder. I know that the Google Keyword Tool is nice, but I really like the features of the Niche Finders...I like the fact that some of these are only $50 as opposed to $97 or with a monthly recurring fee, so that figures into the argument as well, but I really just want the best. Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

It's been my experience that the Market Samurai comes the most highly recommended.

Market Samurai - I use it just about every day.

(I like the fact it works on a Mac too!)

I actually use the Market Samurai for every post I write. Once a post is done, and I'm considering 2-3 different titles, it helps me pick one based on the traffic and competition.

Do most software programmes only work on PCs? I have a mixed environment, but use Macs for business purposes...it's so strange that most everything out there in mainstream is geared towards PCs (adult is all about Macs).

I use serpiq.com. The site gives you a very good and detailed report on the keywords, top ten or more sites ranking for the keywords. The site is really resource full

    Hey kajol,

If your'e looking for the best keyword tool around I highly recommend SECockpit It's an online tool and does have a recurring monthly fee but SECockpit is by far the best keyword tool available.

Because SECockpit is an online application. You don't have to worry about proxies, and it works faster then desktop tools such as market samurai. It makes use of the keyword data better than any other keyword tool I've ever used, and I've used them all.

The first 30 days that I used SEOCockpit I uncovered literally thousands of good keywords in hundreds of niches, more than enough keywords to keep me busy for a very, very long time.

    SECockpit
    (Not affiliate links)

    Hope this helps!

Why would a keyword research tool require proxies? Generally, the only software that requires proxies are the ones used to spam the hell out of the web.

Also, Market Samurai is free if you just use it for the research tool, the optional tools are only activated when you pay for it. I didn't see much of a need for the other tools anyways.

This was my question, also. It's not immediately apparent why this activity would necessitate concealment of your IP number, unless you're breaching someone's terms of service?

Doesn't this thread belong here, really? http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...cussion-forum/

I don't ignor that MS is by far the reputable tool of the IM. But, what I'm concerning is that the fund of MS is really broke down because of their one time purchased.

Anyways, currently I'm going to buy one.
