WordPress SEO by Yoast vs All in One SEO Pack

Yoast is just the best between these two due to:
- A thorough page analysis immediately you save your draft
- No need to install a sitemap or Google Webmaster tools plugin since you can do all this in Yoast
- Snippet of search results
- It measures all sorts of stuff for you, including keyword density, keyword in url, SEO title length, flesch reading ease and all sorts of stuff
- When you go to "all posts", a green radio button will show you whether a certain article is doing well or badly in terms of SEO

I once asked this question in another forum and got all sorts of stuff. Let me see what Warriors think.

    Honestly, I don't know. I vote All in One SEO simply because it's the only one I used.

    And I say that because it's the only one I've needed to use. Whether it's better or worse, not sure, but it's done everything I've needed when I needed.

    I recommend you try out Yoast and come back here to share your experience.

    Of course you don't need to use it on your current site, maybe when you are creating a new website.

      I switched my sites over to WP SEO by Yoast a while back from All-in-One.

      Main reason was I was using 3 plugins previously (All-in-One, XML Sitemaps and Easy WP SEO) and Yoast's plugin does the same as all of them.

      Admittedly you get more detailed analysis from Easy WP SEO but Yoast's is good enough for me.

      I always try to have as few plugins as possible on my sites so I vote for Yoast.

      I have also switched recently from All In One to Yoast because it my opinion it offers more options and has more features. But you really can't go wrong with either of them.

      I vote for Yoast after using All in One SEO Pack for several years and find it "cleaner" and easier to use.

      On top of that there is another free plugin I use which has not been mentioned here.

      BloggerHigh SEO

      This plugin will tell you exactly what you need to do in each post and rates your SEO ranking as you refresh your draft. You will get a tick or a cross against these various factors.

      You need an H1 tag containing your keyword
      You need an H2 tag containing your keyword
      You need an H3 tag containing your keyword
      Your need one instance of your keyword in bold
      Your need one instance of your keyword italicized
      Your need one instance of your keyword underlined
      You need an image with an ALT tag
      The article needs to be long enough (350 words minimum)
      You need an internal link to your other pages
      You need your keyword in the first sentence
      You need your keyword in the last sentence
      You need your keyword in the post title
      Add a video to the post

      Very cool free plugin and its all I need for sure.

    I think that in fact there is no significant difference between any SEO WP plugin. This is all the same stuff.

    I had both of them installed. There are some features in All-in-One SEO that is not in Yoast.

    Yoast will guide you through your site over all SEO. I will still favor Yoast even so I have both of them installed.

    You'll figure it out why I had them both.
