What happened to My #1 Ranking? [SEO Question]

Hi,

Thank you for your help!

Set UP a website a few days ago,
then uploaded a video last night,
Did the "SEO" thing w/ the Video
(Keywords, Description, Adding Website link, etc.)
and was #1 this morning.

NOW, it's NO WHERE to be Found! O.o

What did I do wrong, and, just as important,
How do I FIX it?

    Are you sure you were not seeing personalized results before? I would guess that was what was going on. You never were actually #1.

      I don't think it was personalized because I wasn't logged into anything when I checked.
      (Not GMail / YouTube, etc...)

      The search term only has 15,000 results, so it shouldn't have been that hard to get to #1 organically as well as through YouTube's links.

      I've done it before for search terms that were over 125,000 results, so I wasn't surprised when I saw it #1 this morning.

      Went to call a friend that I'm helping to rank His site, and **Boom!**
      It Disappeared!

      Any Ideas?

    I think you made it google plused (+1), that's why it showed in the no. 1 placed on that time. Within moment it should not be in the no. 1 position. I made lots of efforts but cannot within moment. Anyway, look yours around.

      Didn't +1 it at all.

      Wasn't logged into anything and never clicked the link to view the website.
      Was just Checking the Ranking using Google Search.

    Question; How could it have been listed as #1 in the first place
    when I wasn't even logged into anything?

    I had someone else do the video upload and SEO tweaking.

    You'd have to have some factor to make it display #1 in the first place,
    am I correct?

    All I did was do a search for the keywords.
    Never visited the size w/ the Google Results,
    Even when it showed Up as #1.

    Very Weird!

    Any Ideas?

      It doesn't really matter if you visited the site off the SERP or not, just that you visited it. It gets data from cookies and browsing history to display personalized results. You do not have to be logged into anything.

      Use a Chrome Incognito window, run something like CCleaner before browsing, or use a 3rd party rank checker to see your true ranking.

    I would say you were never #1 and you were seeing personalized results.

    Depends what your long tail keyword term was though I guess.

        It happens a lot more then you realize.

        Google doesn't just care if your Logged in or not.

        You should be using a third party ranking service like serpbook.com (what I use). You can check rankings with it manually and see where your really ranked.
