I was just wondering how most people track conversion data driven by PPC when doing Affiliate Marketing? Do you get to see data down to the keyword level so you can figure out which words are worth bidding on and which are worth scrapping?

Do you ask the company / merchant that you are doing PPC for to add your Adwords Tracking code to their website or is there another way?
