Hey everyone!

I've built a few high converting squeeze pages and I am looking to promote with PPC...

I've never done PPC and I am specifically looking for a few sources you can recommend that you have personally had success with.

Your direction is much appreciated :-)

Be prepared to lose money if you're doing this for the first time. PPC is very profitable but has a big learning curve. If you can afford to lose money at first, then go for it.

Well, that's why he's here, asking for advice so he doesn't lose money or at least minimizes the loss.

First thing is read (carefully) and become familiar with the rules and guidelines. You mention having a squeeze page and depending on exactly how you did this, is against policy.

Read this and other forums on the subject. Problem is, many say things they don't know anything about and it can be confusing.

Buy yourself a book or two. I sell one myself, just go to my site at link below. Or hire someone (like myself) to at least get you started and possibly give you advice such as if your squeeze page will pass muster or not. It costs of course but can save you time and future aggravation. It may also cost less and maybe a better learning experience than be willing to lose money.

You both are doing something, and I would stop before you're reported, suspended, or banned because If you would want to open another account you would have to pay :p

But to the OP, PPC requires a lot of time, and sometimes a lot of money to "test the waters".

Google Adwords Is almost always against promoting Squeeze pages, but you could always give It a shot.

It's always good to "test the waters" by using promotional coupons. Bing has a promo going around at the moment. Sign up for Bing Ads account, then sign up for Bing Webmaster tools account, add the Bing Webmaster code Into the header of your site to verify It, then you have a $50.00 coupon to use on Bing Ads, no purchase required.

I have promoted squeeze pages on Bing Ads a lot and have had little to no problems doing so.

Google Adwords also has a lot of $100.00 coupons they give out, so after signing up be sure to check for that.

That wasn't much help but It's great for testing purposes without having to spend out of pocket at first.

          Best Of luck!

          -Nicholas

EDIT: Also If you want to have no troubles at all with Adwords, create a blog and have all unique, quality content related to the subject you're promoting. Then get a WordPress plugin such as Popup Ninja so that you can have a "mini" squeeze page pop up after so many seconds depending on the amount of time you set up.

Adwords and Bing of course. But you better have lots of cash to test. There are lots of others but it depends on the audience you are advertising too.

Try bing ads first, way cheaper than Adwords and same quality !
And yea, adwords are pretty strict with squeeze pages

Man, PPC was scary but n the end worked out positively for me. But I am selling a service so not sure how to help with your gig. I do know that opting out of the display network was important for me so my ads were not showing up where I didn't want them. Good luck

When I first started with PPC I crashed and burned - like a lot of others here. Then I got educated about the subject. Now, the PPC campaigns I now create are quite effective. So, best direction I can give you is to get educated about the topic first. Check out industry leaders like Perry Marshall or PPC Classroom. You'll learn a lot.

The written tutorials in google help are all crap.
I would rather suggest watching some videos by reps. on the subject.

I love PPC. I also love scuba diving.

Would you go watch a youtube video on scuba diving and go take a 60 ft dive? Hope not.
Same goes with PPC. You better go find Perry Marshal and Glen Livingston's material. There the best instructors in this area. I also learned some cool things from Armond Morin.

Then have a budget for experimentation. Kinda like learning to play poker

Of course, PPC is all about testing product where you have to spend money, so if you have good budget then you can go with this method.

Test some products/keywords/service etc. if they give you money then spend more to earn more.

I would start with yahho / bing PPC first, googles strict rules against IM tactics and the price of clicks and competition has put me off a bit

I would definitely do yahhoo and bing to get your feet wet
