New site dropped down google rankings what should i do ?

I made a site with an emd, that shot straight onto page one of google , no backlinking or anything, it was an ebay affiliate site, and got a few comissions via that.

Yesterday it dropped and i cant see it getting much traffic.

The title is exactly the same as the emd, should i add something else , does that look spammy to google ?

Should i do some backlinking ?, thought that was spammy these days so soon after making the site ?

Any other ideas please ?

    I just saw similar question to this in other thread.. lol..
    I prefer to give it sometime, meanwhile we need to make sure that we do the backlinking naturally , regular content. and make sure you do the backlining part in the right way,

    Its called Google dance. I also face this kind of problem with my clients.

    Now if you can increase backlinks and content with panda and penguin safe style then it will increase slowly search engine ranking. Then you will finally stable first page in Google.

    It's an EMD... Google doesn't like EMDs...

    Did it have 100 dollar articles with great content?
    Was the site meaningful?
    Were the backlinks built by you?

    Only sites that are great stay on the top of search engines (unless there are no rivals)

    Could be many reasons. If its new it could be sandbox. Did you build links to fast?

    Google could have already pegged your site as "thin and shitty", it happens if you just run an affiliate site with little content and value.

    To be perfectly honest, it could be many many reasons. If you want, post me the URL in a PM and i will take a look and see what i can come up with.

    We can see,there are many EMD sites having rank higher in SERPs still after EMD update.The matter is,how much quality is serving by your website?So I will recommend you to work on improving quality of your website.Add more relevant content,work on navigation,internal linking,SE friendly design and of course quality and relevant backlinks.
    I hope after making these changes,your website will get its rank again.
