Hello warriors!
I am planning to promote my blog through blog commenting.Is it a good idea?
Could anyone provide me a list of blogs in health,phramacy and medical education niche.
I do also need the blog list in university education niche.

        Because blog commenting is NOT good for SEO after all the updates... It could help you for a few extra visitors, but if there are over 20+ comments on this article either go to the next article or leave the whole website... Noone will click on your link from there if there are 1,000 other coments on the same page!

          that is not totally true. As compare to other link building activities, blog commenting is very good. I dont see any harm of blog commenting but as we all know content is a king of internet so guest blogs, article submissions play vital role in SEO.

    I would do it for traffic value, not link value. Comment links won't help you all that much if i'm being honest.

    I don't spend much time commenting on blogs if i am honest.

        Do Guest Posting... It is the best way to drive traffic to your site/blog. Also try posting your site to relevant niche forums. It will help a lot, and finally do social bookmarking on quality sites like Twitter, G+, Stumbleupon, Reddit, Delicious, etc.

    Planning to drive traffic and increase your rank in search engine through blog comment is of course a good idea. You can do do-follow blog commenting as much as you can. Make sure that the comments are in perfect English. Besides that you can try with some forums of health niche to get addition help besides blogs.

        If you're specifically interested in traffic you can try Google Alerts, which can notify you of new posts in your niche. If you're consistent with your comments (5-10 a day) you'll start to see a fairly steady flow of traffic.

        If you're one of the first to comment on a high traffic blog you can get lucky and have a LOT of that traffic flow through to your site.

        You can really ramp this up with Scrapebox though. I use it to search for hundreds of niche-related keywords at once, making sure to have it display results from the past 24 hours. I then run the blogs through a PR / Alexa check to help pinpoint the ones that are getting traffic.

      Health forums.. haha. It's ridiculously hard to find a forum which allows dofollow signature, if they allow any signature at all.

    As your link profile should look natural so you need to use other methods of link building too.

    However, blog commenting is also a method of link building and traffic and it can give benefit in SEO too.
